6D5N stay and bored gamin gg!!

Last Saturday I went to grandma's house for 6D5N stay and came back on Friday. It was quite fun cos my cousins were there too. I got addicted to TV and reading the Time Travellller(how many l's are there?)'s Wife there. Of course there was PSP games, DM with my cousin's friends and stuff like dat too. Only sad part was that i didn't mh or blog for so many days!! That's one reason i came back. the other is that i went for a board gaming competition yesterday, playing board games some of you might never have heard of b4. there were settlers of catan, dividend, blokus and monopoly (ha, i bet no one knows about monopoly, it's such a rare game) i played catan and lost in the semi finals. there was also a lucky draw but i guess i wasn't lucky, although i tried covering the "draw" on my lucky draw coupon to make it a lucky coupon. went home with nothing but a goodie bag, haiz... bye for now and hope i have time to post.
P.S. could you pls make up your mind?

Random combi and flying papers

Today there was no nat team training, but wei liang and i went to NUS anyway. Then we realised there wasn't training (after two calls) and had three and a half hours on our hands. We started combiing at 9 and finished a few exercise questions, bought drinks, looked at the professors' names and started laughing at some (Professor Li Lu). Then IT happened. It was always there, but when the moment came, it was very strong. The wind, with one huge blow, blew all of wei liang's worksheets away (to blow one away). The railing stopped some... and let others through. The result: I started gathering the ones which were on the floor while wei liang went down (we were talking about the paper in face joke), then went on sentry duty (easier to see papers from top). In the end, he lost a few (regretting he didn't bring lit of history) and managed to get back the rest. Haha, fun day. my cousin came ytd again, now i have more things to do. ok gonna warcraft now last terribly difficult mission b4 ridding myself of the addiction of warcraft (not computer, i'll just move on to amorphous+) BYE! good mood today
P.S. haha my laziness of posting ended b4 yours!

Training

today was my first day of "extra" training. went to RJC(ironic) and did some functional equations and inequalities. i got lost abt halfway... wei liang on a cruise so he didn't come. nothing else special happening today, cept that my cousin left...
hope you guys dun mind this blog with no pics or nice blogskin and stuff lyke that.
haiz... i still remember that "wu liao"...

Cuz

two days' my cuz came. he added two new things my life revolves around: duel masters and psp games. not much exciting happens nowadays. the latest one i can think of is ytd's training, which was abt inequalities. haiz, three weeks of nat team training materials not done, gsp pushed later and later into my schedule andom materials haven't read, yet i'm still playing... guess i'm still a kid...
sad i can't copy a quiz i saw on someone else's blog... and i'm too lazy to type it out or to search it on facebook
P.S. i dun feel like adding a c-box, linking friends and stuff (LAZY), so if SOMEONE(S) who have access to my blog(my gmail acc) feel free to change the situation.

Well, that does it

I'm pissed. Today's the day I realise I can no longer hit soprano. Why does my voice have to break? And that isn't the only thing. I'm blocked, not from mh, not my nose, but you guys wouldn't understand. Tried both ytd and today, but nvm. Given up anyways, knew it would happen.
First time signing off,

Shanghai, Philippines and chocolate

Sorry guys for not writing so long, but all will explain itself in the next few lines (or maybe even the title). As most of you might have known, I was training at Shanghai (not physically, I was never a muscles kinda guy) from 17 - 26 Nov, and from 28 Nov - 2 Dec was attending PIMC at Iloilo, Philippines. The chocolate part, well, I shall be relating that much later. I hope you're interested too find out what happened, or please don't read on, it'll bore you to death, I won't be talking about any chim maths terms, just the fun part. My memories might have failed me a little, though (to those who actually were with me).

Shanghai:
17 Nov Attended AMC(8 or 10, can't remember when), so supposed flight was postponed.
18 Nov Whee! Flew from Singapore to Shanghai. Everyone stared at my humongous luggage, it was so... you guessed it, big. Played a few rounds of bridge while waiting for boarding (strangely, whoever teamed up with Wei Bin lost) On the plane, we ate chicken beehoon and played 24, skip-bo and read (though I was probably the only person to read). Warmly (how ironic, it was winter there, at 8 degrees C) welcomed by schoolteachers. Soon, after debating many teachers' nature and such stuff on the bus, we arrived at Yan An High School (must force self to stop putting in details).
Ate a wonderful 10-course dinner (buffet style, which we would be having for the next 8 days with different courses). That night, we played a board game Settlers of Catan with three others after unpacking. Quite fun (we kept sabotaging B***y) Decided I would be sharing a room with you guessed it(or maybe you didn't) Wei Liang.
19 Nov
The air-conditioner (um, I mean heater) did not do much even with a leather jacket, long johns, a thick blanket and shirt, we still froze (literally). Woken up by the national anthem (just kidding).
Lessons till night, which was our only free time. Played Settlers again, this time with team to stop somebody from complaining.
20 Nov
Swapped the night game to Saboteur, a card game. This time, You-Know-Who didn't complain, as we reasoned the aim was to sabotage anyway(at least for the Saboteurs). IT SNOWED!!!
But there wasn't snow on the ground, the snow meltedd too quick.
21 Nov
Since it was a Saturday, we got to go out and shopped till we... (ok, I'll admit it, we didn't really buy much). Got a PANDA!!!! Also bought some random picture of horses with my name calligraphed. quite nice. Learnt the art of bargaining in China, or as Ming Kit calls it (China, not the art of bargaining), Cheena from wise, young Zhi Ming. Usually when they put 100RMB, you can get it for 400 (just say 100 at first). DOTAed with Zhi Ming and Colin, after playing Citadels, another card game, when we got back. Uber fun (cos I won)
22 Nov
Sunday! Got ready to go to Shu Chen (directly translated, The City of Books). OMG it was like heaven there. Got Life of Pi, two Garfield comic books in Chinese (probably the only thing Chinese book I'll read), and the 6th Harry Potter book. Then went with Wei Liang to the toys section in Shu Chen (erm... dun ask me) and played table soccer there. Shoudl have shopped more, though, I was so envious seeing Colin with $5 Sing, 500-page books of Sherlock Holmes as we left. DOTAed again, this time with Wei Liang too, and played TD and a random warcraft-pokemon game. Also went to supermarket and bought food.
23 Nov
Lessons again! Didn't eat dinner cos I was feeling sick, slept till 11pm till Mr Rong and Mr Toh (Colin, not Ken) woke me up. Went to hospital nearby (China has no clinics) Did IV for the first time (some random water dripping into hand thingy) for three hours. Would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the two teachers.
24 Nov
Slept all day till 6pm. Played Mahjong for four hours, then went to bed again.
25 Nov
PARTY! Played everything we played before and more, filled ourselves with food and drink, and ended the trip with a high note.
26 Nov
Bade farewell to all the professors who taught us, took photos and started towards the airport. It wasn't as cold as it was when we first arrived. Played 24, Warcraft, and a game similar to dai di on the plane. Arrived in Singapore at abt 9pm.

AS ONE JOURNEY ENDS, ANOTHER BEGINS.

28 Nov
Flew to Manila from Singapore (read and 24ed) on the plane. We then transferred to Iloilo, a tourist city in Philippines. There were guides welcoming us. It was HOT! (the weather, not the guides) We arrived in the night, so didn't have much time after 40-min van ride to hotel and checking in to do much else, other than unpack and decide who sleeps where. We had a room with two queen and one single bed. Four of us (You-Know-Who, Wei Liang, Wei Bin and me) and Mr Toh were with us (Mr Rong was the team leader and was staying in another hotel.

29 Nov
Enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner provide by the hotel and went to this church in the town 40 minutes away (Philippines' main religion is Christianity). Got an ice-cream there (tasted delicious after sweating so much). Then we went to a shopping mall, spending pesos on food at mobile stalls, necessities (like bicycle playing cards) at SM supermarket and tokens at numerous different arcades (one tokes 20 cents Sing). Went back and played bridge, mahjong and warcraft. (continued to do so every night). Discussed strategy for team comp and revised a bit.

30 Nov
The competition begins! They spent more time giving the papers than we spent doing them! There were countries like Tai-larn, Saussafrika, boogaria and many more, most mis-pronounced by the speaker. Felt dissapointed at results after comparing to others and such.

31 Nov, oops 1 Dec
Went for second part of the competition. It was quite fun, as they were all ad-hoc puzzles. Felt pretty satisfied. Results were released later in the day. I got gold for individual, and gold and silver for team. Shall not elaborate and niao. Then we went for this cultural night, in which we escaped performing in, thanks to Mr Toh. There were fireworks, neon lights and a humongous 20-course dinner, including salads, ice-cream floats and wonderful native food.

2 Dec
Went back and realised we had to pay $25 Sing just for using their airport (thank goodness Singapore doesn't have airport tax, though it's in the tickets) Mr Rong treated all of us to a wonderful meal. THANKS! After reaching Singapore, I bought Herhsey's and After Eight CHOCOLATE! I dunno why they say females like choc, I bet I like choc more than them. YUM!

P.S The whole time I was blogging, I was enjoying myself with Hershey's kisses, I prefer her to other girls
